I cancelled my flight yesterday because of a serious family emergency. I would like to get a refund on compassionate grounds. My sister fell and broke her hip * weeks ago, in diagnosing the fracture, cancer was discovered. Surgery has not yet been done, and prognosis is unclear. I found a webpage for request for refund. What should I send as an attachment? What should be said in a doctor's letter? Can a refund be issued when prognosis is unclear
