My internet randomly disconnects. I am on my second cable modem, and I'm still seeing problems. Based on the troubleshooting I've already done, I highly doubt the problem is with my hardware.**Instead, I think the issue is somewhere between my modem and the internet. This means it's probably an issue with the cable coming out of the wall (provided by my apartment building) or Comcast's local network.**I've spent hours on the phone with Comcast. Ultimately, they told me they could send someone out to check the signal, but that I'd have to pay $$$ for this, and there's no guarantee their tech would find a problem. I am not willing to pay for this.**So, instead, what can I do to diagnose the problem myself? I want to find a fix. This means either determining that my hardware is at fault (again, unlikely), or having some proof I can show to Comcast that my internet keeps randomly disconnecting due to a problem on their end, i.e. with the signal coming out of the cable in the wall.**Let me know if I can provide any additional info.
