Hello, My husband, M, and I rented a car from December 24th to 29th, picking up in Las Vegas and dropping off in LA. Our initial reservation cost $[redacted]. Upon arrival, I requested a staff member in Las Vegas to update the reservation due to a driver's license issue, and he mentioned the total would be $[redacted].19, which I agreed to. However, upon return, we were charged $1,[redacted].38. I spoke with Tatiana in LA, who pointed out that the contract mistakenly indicated a return to Las Vegas instead of LA, a mistake made by the staff in Las Vegas. Despite assurances from Tatiana to resolve the issue within 72 hours, I haven't received any updates. I reached out to customer service via email with no response. I am extremely disappointed with ALAMO as this error impacted our vacation and caused inconvenience. I urge the company to address this matter promptly to reach a resolution.

I am disappointed with the rental experience we had recently. Initially, we were provided with the wrong car upon rental. Despite contacting customer service and being promised a callback from a supervisor, no one reached out to us. Upon returning the car, the employee at the desk informed us of a $69 charge, offset by a $20 gas credit due to the tank not being full at pickup. We were told we could settle the remaining balance once we spoke with a supervisor. Unfortunately, we were charged twice afterward, resulting in overdraft fees and other inconveniences. I am hoping for a resolution to this issue promptly. Reservation: [redacted] Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

Dear Alamo customer service, I recently rented a Dodge Challenger from Alamo at the Philadelphia International Airport through Travelocity. Despite the reservation process going smoothly, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked for an additional $[redacted] deposit and charged $[redacted] instead of the agreed $[redacted]. The insurance I purchased was claimed to be a third-party one, making me responsible for the deductible. I had to spend extra time and money due to this confusion. When trying to extend my rental, I was quoted a higher rate than expected. I feel frustrated by the lack of clarity and the discrepancies in charges. I ask for a discount to be applied upon returning the car to address these issues. I hope to hear back from someone soon regarding this matter. Sincerely, M.L.

I was charged a $[redacted] damage fee at the SJO Alamo in Costa Rica on June 27, [redacted]. Despite providing evidence to the district manager, Gerardo Fallas at [redacted], the issue remains unresolved. The damage I was charged for on the rear driver’s side of the vehicle was incorrectly noted as being on the rear passenger side in the damage report, which I have documentation to support. Regrettably, the SJO Alamo management has not been cooperative in addressing this error. As a loyal customer renting from SJO Alamo since [redacted], I seek prompt resolution of this dispute to continue renting with Alamo. I can provide the contract number SJOT71-[redacted] and reservation number [redacted] for reference. Thank you, Scott R. +[redacted]0

On November 30, [redacted], I arrived in Jackson, Mississippi, rented a car from Alamo, and experienced a series of unfortunate events. The car broke down shortly after I received it and despite my efforts to contact the rental company, I was unable to get any help. Even the roadside assistance was unhelpful, informing me that they couldn't provide a replacement due to the closed terminal. I ended up stranded in Yazoo, far from the airport, with no transportation options like Uber or Lyft. To make matters worse, upon returning the car, I was charged additional fees for the rental and tow truck services that were not satisfactory. Despite disputing these charges with my bank, I was still billed. Alamo even reported me to their collections department, causing further distress. I have reached out to Alamo's representatives like Loretta and Faith Sullivan, but have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. As a loyal customer of the Enterprise group, I find this experience unacceptable. I am seeking a prompt resolution to this matter and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and stress caused. If this issue is not addressed promptly, I may consider taking legal action to seek justice.

I am encountering issues with my confirmed reservation at Alamo. Despite being an Alamo Insider, I am unable to utilize the "Skip the Counter" feature. The national customer service could not address my concern and referred me to the Nashville office. Regrettably, the Nashville, Tennessee airport office was meant to contact me regarding this matter but has not done so yet. The website indicates my reservation is confirmed, but the national representative suspects there may not be a vehicle available for me at the local office.
