I had round trip tickets from Portland to Puerto Vallarta departing on 12/26/21 and returning on 1/2/22. Unfortunately, our Portland flight was canceled due to the winter storm that closed Seattle airport. We managed to get a one-way flight to Puerto Vallarta through Delta, but we still need assistance keeping our original Alaska reservation for the return flight. Since arriving here, we have been unsuccessful in reaching out to Alaska Airlines. Can anyone provide guidance on how to establish communication with Alaska Airlines regarding this matter? Thank you.

I recently received an email about expiring credits, prompting me to book flights to utilize them. However, upon reaching the Payment page, I couldn't find a drop-down menu to enter the Certificate Code or PIN #. Subsequently, the reservation processed and charged my husband's credit card. I'm seeking guidance on how to apply the credit to my new reservation to address this issue once the travel delays are sorted out. Thank you for your help during this busy period.

I booked a flight in [redacted] but had to cancel, and the airline wouldn't refund my $1,[redacted].62. I was told to use the credit on another flight, but I received conflicting information from each agent I spoke to. The latest agent said I had to book something before the year's end, but I've been trying to do so all week. I left my callback number, but they haven't returned my call, and this is now the 30th attempt. I'm frustrated and just want my money back. I even spent $[redacted] flying to Anchorage to get help at the airport, but they were unable to assist me. If you need more information, please call me at [redacted].

I have tried contacting multiple times this week. I waited on hold, attempted the call back option four times without any responses, and sent emails regarding my expiring credit certificate for my wife's ticket with health concerns. Due to her COPD and the current COVID risk, we are uncertain about traveling in the near future and are seeking an extension for the certificate that expires on 12/31.

I requested a callback yesterday, which I received this morning. However, when I explained my issue, I was transferred to customer care but the call got disconnected. I have requested another callback, but I won't be available after 4 pm Pacific Time today. My concern is regarding ticket # [redacted][redacted], where two legs were supposed to be refunded as Alaska credit. I have not seen the credit or any confirmation of the refund in our family's accounts. This situation is causing me worry. Thank you.

I would like to share about my flight that was scheduled in March [redacted]. Due to COVID-19, the flight got canceled. Recently, I discovered that my travel credits have expired, although I never received any prior notification about it. The last communication I had was in July [redacted], providing details of my total credit amount and the ticket and itinerary numbers mentioned below. It is frustrating that I was not reminded in advance about the expiration of my credits so that I could have taken appropriate action. Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted] Original Itinerary: [redacted][redacted] I tried reaching out twice. During the second call, there were some technical issues with machine voices overlapping, followed by a 25-minute hold before I had to disconnect.

My Alaska Airlines flights departing Seattle on Jan 5 and returning from MSP on Jan 8 got canceled. I spoke with Adria, an Alaska representative, who rebooked us on a Delta Airlines flight [redacted] departing from MSP on Jan 9 at 11:10 am. We had to find new accommodation at the Baymont by Wyndham for $80 and incurred additional costs of $15 for breakfast and $60 for two suitcases. However, Delta could not honor the ticket transfer initially. After contacting Alaska Airlines and talking to Rosa via chat, our tickets were reissued to Delta. Although Delta got us on a later flight, they did not refund the $60 paid to Alaska Airlines for baggage.

I, Byungwoo Choe, made a reservation for two seats on Alaska Airlines flight [redacted] for myself and my wife, Jannet Park, departing from New York JFK on December 23, [redacted], at 1:00 PM. Our confirmation number was IFVMYZ. Regrettably, the flight was canceled due to mechanical issues after experiencing a prolonged delay. Consequently, we were rebooked for a flight the following day. In the interim, we incurred a cost of $[redacted].97 for transportation, split between $76.84 for the trip home and $74.13 for the return to the airport. After contacting customer service, we were advised that we would be reimbursed for these expenses. If needed, I can supply the electronic receipts. Kindly reach out to facilitate the reimbursement process. Thank you.

I made a flight booking online on 1-13-22 from PDX to Tampa, FL. An amount was deducted from my checking account on 2-14-22, including the purchase of flight insurance. However, I am unable to locate the reservation for flight [redacted] departing at 12:15 AM and arriving in Tampa at 8:30 PM. This was the only direct flight I found from PDX. I never received a confirmation number or a copy of the booking. The payment reference number is [redacted]65, but it appears to be invalid. My payment information includes my address at [redacted] England Ave, Montesano, WA [redacted]. I prefer to provide my debit card number over a call. As a person with a disability, I chose an aisle seat in the cabin. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this matter as I haven't traveled by air in years. Thank you for your help. - Marsha B.

Dear Sirs, I am contacting you regarding the changed flights for my upcoming trip, which are unsatisfactory. I have tried to reach out before but have not received a response. As a UK resident, a voucher does not benefit me as I do not have plans to return to the USA soon. The alternatives provided upon cancellation are not acceptable as they do not match my original booking. Best regards, David Gibson Sent from my iPad

This morning, I had a reservation for Award Travel on American Airlines Flight [redacted] from Lima, Peru, with connections in Orlando, FL; and Portland, OR; heading to Anchorage, AK. The Alaska Airlines Confirmation # was FOKFAZ and the AA Confirmation # was DRYAUL. Despite arriving at the ticket counter at 5:45, my seat had been given away as the flight was full. The AA representative said I could take a later flight and to contact the AA Call Center. Upon calling, I was directed to contact AS since the ticket was booked elsewhere. After multiple disconnections and hold times, including a cancellation notification for my flight from Miami to Orlando, I ended up in a nearby hotel, frustrated by the lack of available flights and assistance. Despite attempting to change my travel details online, I received an error message to call AS for help. As I write this, I am still in Lima, awaiting AS's response while the robot states a 10-hour wait time. Please advise, as I am stranded and in need of assistance.

I purchased tickets online and selected to use points. However, during checkout, I was charged $[redacted] to my credit card. I have been trying to resolve this issue since two days ago, facing long wait times and getting disconnected. My mileage number is [redacted]13, and the flight confirmation number is BCFPGB. I need to address this before 4 PM today to avoid cancellation fees. I want to ensure that my points are used for this booking. This experience with AA has been frustrating, as I have been satisfied with them in the past.

I made a booking through Travelocity for air travel but had to cancel due to medical reasons. Travelocity informed me that they issued a credit to the airlines, which I can redeem. However, when I checked my Alaska Air account, I couldn't see the credit. I would like to know how and where I can access this credit, as I intend to use it for booking a trip for my 30th Anniversary. The long wait times for customer service calls are not feasible for me, so I would appreciate a prompt response or a callback about this matter. My infrequent flyer number is [redacted]90, and I had hoped to become a frequent flyer before COVID-19 disrupted my plans.

Hello, I'm Juan R Mohaba Mokara. I flew with Alaska on March 28th from Seattle to Chicago, then to Abida Ethiopia and finally to Equatorial Guinea Malabo. Upon reaching Chicago, Alaska called me to pick up my luggage, but when I did, one of my bags was missing, sent to my final stop without my confirmation. Unfortunately, I canceled my Chicago to Abida Ethiopia flight due to lack of a covid PCR test. I rebooked for April 5th, arriving in Malabo on the 6th, and still, my missing bag remains missing. The missing bag, labeled "Malabo" and "Mohaba," possibly corresponds to one of these ticket numbers: AS 80-62-82, AS 80-62-85, or AS 80-62-83. This box holds valuable items, and I am seeking assistance to locate it.

Hello, I received a confirmation email for a flight departing from Las Vegas on June 4th at 2 p.m. and arriving in San Francisco at 3:55 p.m. However, I have a connecting flight from San Francisco to Paris CDG at 3 p.m. Can you clarify which time zone and hour I should consider? The later departure time seems incorrect. What solution can you offer in this case? Best regards, Benjamin D.

I am encountering issues making a reservation online using miles in cash. The website is not allowing me to proceed with the booking. I require assistance from a representative to address this matter. My husband and I both have mileage numbers linked to the same email address. However, I am only able to access my account and not his. I am seeking to determine the mileage balance in his account and resolve why the website is not functioning correctly. My name is Judith Dalton, with mileage plan number [redacted]42. My husband's name is Bruce Dalton, with mileage number [redacted]63. Upon entering either number, the system displays my account. I am unsure how to rectify this situation and would appreciate prompt assistance for making the reservation. Thank you in advance for your help. -Judie Dalton

During my recent flight, we were redirected to Portland due to President Biden's visit to Seattle. Our flight to Redmond, OR was canceled while we were on the ground in Portland. We chose to disembark and drive home, it's only a 2-hour drive from Portland, and we could avoid an overnight stay and arrive in Redmond at noon. Consequently, we canceled our flight and received a refund for the Sea to Redmond leg. I'm seeking reimbursement for our rental car expenses totaling $[redacted].93, which was the most economical option we could find on Friday night without a reservation for a one-way trip. I'm also requesting a refund for our checked bags, which we had to leave on the plane for delivery to Redmond. Despite planes flying into Redmond on Friday night and throughout Saturday, our bags weren't delivered until Sunday afternoon. I would like to address a customer service issue during our time at LAX. We received four text messages within half an hour informing us of gate changes to different terminals, requiring us to repeatedly navigate between terminals while waiting for our flight. This was particularly challenging for me as a 70-year-old with interstitial lung disease. I recommend ensuring gate information is accurate before sending out initial notifications to prevent unnecessary confusion and strain on passengers, especially those with health conditions or mobility limitations.

I had a first-class ticket booked from Tampa to Anchorage for Tuesday, 6/28, arriving early afternoon. The flight was canceled, and now I am rebooked on a flight that lands past midnight on Wednesday. This creates a problem since I have a Montaque Island fishing charter worth $[redacted]. It departs from Seward at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, giving me insufficient time to make it there from Anchorage. I tried to reschedule for Monday the 27th, but your website indicates an additional $[redacted] charge, even though my confirmation states there should be no fee for changing a first-class ticket. The new itinerary also mentions no charge for changes one day before or after the original flight. Please contact me at [redacted].
