Last July, I made a booking and payment for a flight from Gatwick to Gibraltar for the 7th of April this year. The scheduled departure time was 4.30pm, which suited my plans perfectly. I was disembarking from a cruise in Southampton at 10.15am on the same day and had a coach journey to Gatwick, arriving at 1.30pm, allowing ample time for my flight. However, two weeks before the trip, I received an email informing me that my flight had been rescheduled to 11.30am. Since there were no other flights to Gibraltar that day, I had to modify my booking. This incurred a cost of £49 per person for the flight change, an additional £50 per person due to the higher fare, and a hotel room at the airport costing £[redacted].54. In total, I had to bear expenses amounting to £[redacted]. Despite reaching out to EasyJet, the response I received ignored my concerns and stated that no compensation was applicable since the flight wasn't technically delayed. In my view, the unavailability of my original flight constitutes a cancellation, warranting some form of compensation.

I experienced an extensive delay on my return flight on April 13th, resulting in an arrival time of 1:30am at London Gatwick on April 14th. The late hour and lack of transportation options made it impossible for me to reach my home in Twickenham. After explaining my predicament to airport security and speaking with a manager at the arrivals desk, I was rescheduled to an Easyjet flight to Stansted departing on April 14th at 4:10pm. Stranded at Belfast airport, I found accommodation at the Maldron Hotel and was advised by the manager to claim compensation for the delay. I submitted the necessary information, including receipts for the hotel and train fare. Despite being informed I could claim compensation, Easyjet swiftly rejected my request without providing an avenue for further correspondence, leaving me feeling disappointed. The flight delay was attributed to technical issues, prompting me to question the airline's liability in such cases and the responsibility they hold when changing flights for passengers.

Subject: Issue with easyJet Booking - Refund Request To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to address an incident that occurred during my recent travel experience with easyJet. Upon arrival at the airport, I was unexpectedly charged [redacted] Euros for checked baggage, despite having already paid for this service. The staff insisted on payment via credit card, even though I had cash on hand. This created an uncomfortable situation whereby I had to ask a stranger to pay on my behalf with their credit card, in exchange for cash. On our recent return flight from Chania airport in Crete to the UK with EasyJet, my husband and I encountered a frustrating situation related to our luggage. Despite traveling with what we believed to be compliant bags - a canvas bag and a small wheeled trolley - we were informed that they did not meet the requirements. We were then asked to pay a fine of 48 euros per item, even though the trolley case was only slightly larger than permitted due to the wheels. The staff at the airport were impolite and insisted on the extra fee or else we couldn't board the flight, a situation we had not experienced on the outbound flight. Despite paying the fee and heading towards the plane, a baggage handler attempted to take our trolley case, causing further stress. Thankfully, a stewardess intervened and resolved the situation. We left feeling mistreated and as though we had unjustly lost 48 euros during the ordeal.

Subject: Incident regarding wife's boarding experience - Lanzarote to Bristol Flight To Whom It May Concern, On April 25th, [redacted], during the Easyjet flight from Lanzarote to Bristol scheduled from 11:00 to 14:50 under booking reference K47ZB38, my wife, Lorraine, encountered distressing treatment by staff at Gate 4. Despite arriving in time with valid proof, she was refused boarding. The staff were unhelpful, provided inconsistent reasons, and displayed rude and aggressive behavior towards her, even threatening to involve the police. Throughout the ordeal, my wife was wrongly accused of arriving late, not having a seat number, and holding a 'Standby' ticket, none of which was true. She was belittled and humiliated in front of other passengers. The handling of the situation by the male and female staff members was appalling and clearly documented. We have never experienced such mistreatment in our extensive travels and are deeply concerned about the behavior of the Easyjet staff. I made a booking for an overnight trip to Newcastle for a match. The flight was supposed to depart at 10:50 AM and arrive at 11:40 AM. However, due to a technical fault, the flight departed at 7:24 PM and arrived at 8:24 PM. Upon speaking with the staff and expressing my hesitation to travel, I was given a leaflet and informed that I could leave. Unfortunately, this resulted in me losing the money for my hotel reservation, which I am seeking to recoup. While I did receive a refund for my flights after a 20-minute discussion, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining a reimbursement for the hotel expenses.

Dear Forum Members, I recently traveled with my husband, Anthony Cox, from Tenerife South to Bristol Airport on May 3, [redacted], on flight LS1892. After going through security, my husband was thoroughly searched, and then they proceeded to swab his hands, waistband, and face for testing, which was surprising given our ages of 68 and 71. Upon returning home, we discovered that my Samsung mobile phone, Samsung tablet, and a red tablet cover were missing. Despite their low monetary value, these items hold sentimental photos and important phone numbers that I need. I am reaching out to inquire if these missing items may have been turned in to the lost and found office in Tenerife and if there is a way to have them returned to us. The devices are currently switched off and have security codes, rendering them unusable to others. I attempted to contact the lost and found office in Tenerife without success, hence my plea for assistance here. Any help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I am writing to inquire about my recent flight booking from Tel-Aviv to Amsterdam under reference number K594VPF. I purchased an additional large cabin bag for this flight and assumed it was included for the return journey as well. However, upon checking the airline app, I noticed that the large cabin bag is not listed for my upcoming return flight scheduled for the day after tomorrow. I have already completed the check-in process and unfortunately, I am unable to add the cabin bag through the website or app at this point. Booking Reference: K5BKJPH Flight Number: EZY6415 Lost Baggage Reference: PFOU21717 I completed a lost luggage claim and have reached out to your customer service number [redacted]0 multiple times but have not received any updates. The lack of communication is concerning, especially as my baggage contains essential diabetic medication. I have incurred expenses consulting a physician to replace the medication. It seems my baggage might have been removed due to the flight's high number of no-shows. I urge EasyJet to take prompt action to assist with locating and returning my lost belongings.

I made a mistake with my easyJet booking to Preveza for June 8th - June 22nd. I accidentally added and paid for 2 extra suitcases when I had already paid for 2. EasyJet does not offer refunds, but I am hoping to transfer the additional suitcase fees to my upcoming flight to Rhodes. My reference number is K52LGP1. I have already reached out to EasyJet via email, and they mentioned a response within 28 days. I am looking to resolve this issue before booking my next flights. I purchased a piece of luggage online, but it turned out to be larger than expected, resulting in me having to pay an extra 58 Euros at the airport. Despite this, I didn't receive a credit for the original luggage purchased online. We only have one large suitcase, so I believe I should receive a refund for the online purchase. I inquired if I could just pay the difference between the 46 Euros and the 58 Euros, but they insisted on the full payment of 58 Euros and mentioned the possibility of arranging a refund later.

I am having difficulties retrieving my return flight boarding passes for flight EZY2942 from Tunisia. The online check-in is not working correctly. I managed to print the outbound passes for flight EZY2941 from Bristol departing on 22/5/23 and returning on 29/5/23. However, I noticed that the return flight includes two hold bags that I did not request. My wife requires special assistance, and we can only handle the four cabin bags allotted with our booking. With only 8 days until the flight, I need urgent assistance. I have been attempting to resolve this issue with EasyJet for weeks without success. Thank you.

Good morning, I am calling because I have just returned from holiday to Icemelar. When we arrived at the resort, our hotel was not open, and we had not been informed of this. We were dropped off on the other side of the canal with a bridge across to the hotel by a private transfer organized by EasyJet. The hotel security at the gate of the premises could not speak English. It was 23:30 at night in the rain, and we didn't know what to do. We felt very vulnerable and anxious as we didn't know the area. Could you please advise how this could have occurred? Holiday reference [redacted].

Unfortunately, I have contracted Covid-19 this week and am unable to travel to Milan with my friends due to being contagious and unfit for air travel. I hold a booking from Reykjavik(Keflavik) to Milan Malpensa departing on the 18th and returning on the 21st of May [redacted] under reference K4RRQSP. I need to cancel my flight due to a conflict with an appointment on the 2nd of June. The booking was changed from the 3rd to the 2nd of June, and I am unable to make the new date. Our luggage hasn't appeared in Paris ORLY post our flight from Manchester yesterday. The baggage handling systems experienced issues, resulting in many passengers missing their bags as well. We completed all required EasyJet online forms to report our missing baggage on mybag.aero/EasyJet. However, after 24 hours, they claim there is no record of our claim. Unfortunately, the contact numbers and emails provided on the EasyJet website don't seem to be functional. Phone calls get cut off, and emails bounce back as undeliverable.

I booked a flight with eDreams for an EasyJet flight from Nice to Rome on September 28th. The payment processed, and I was supposed to receive a confirmation email with the booking number and flight details. Hello, I have a flight with easyJet from Gatwick to Faro that I booked through lastminute.com. I originally only planned to bring cabin luggage but now I'd like to add a checked bag. Lastminute.com is quoting £86.59 each way for a 23kg bag, which seems expensive compared to booking directly with easyJet. Can you confirm the prices for adding a 15kg and a 20kg bag if I were to do it at the airport? Thank you for your assistance.
