I am reaching out regarding two charges on April 29th and four charges on April 30th, totaling $1,[redacted] made by my son on my account. I attempted to dispute the charges but the claim was denied. I have now requested a refund for these unauthorized charges. As a Senior Software Engineer, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support I have received. The charges not only went through without authorization, but they were also processed without real-time payment confirmation. This led to multiple charges for the same transactions, resulting in financial difficulties, including overdraft fees totaling $[redacted]. This is unacceptable, and as a result, I am considering switching from Google Play to an iPhone to avoid any future fraudulent charges. I am dissatisfied with the handling of this situation by Google, and I am contemplating legal action if my issue is not resolved promptly.

From April 30, [redacted], until May 17, [redacted], my phone, which was stolen at the swimming pool, was used by someone to make unauthorized purchases using my banking information. Although I secured my gaming accounts, I wasn't aware of the fraudulent activities taking place on my phone before heading to camp for work. It is crucial for me to have the unauthorized transactions refunded, as they occurred between April 30th and May 17th, when the unauthorized access was present. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated.

Hello Google, My name is Arijit Maity. I subscribed to the Google App "Family Locator" on April 25th for 3 days by paying Rs. 85. However, I encountered difficulties canceling the subscription as there were no options available. I reached out to Family Locator Customer Care, but they were unable to find any transaction records and advised me to cancel the subscription through Google Play Store. Upon checking the "Subscription Tab" in my Play Store account, I discovered there were no active subscriptions listed. Despite this, on April 28th, Rs. [redacted] was deducted for the Family Locator App for a 1-month subscription. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, the issue remains unresolved, and I am unable to access the app even after the deduction. I am seeking a cancellation of the subscription and a refund. Enclosed are the Transaction IDs: 1. April 25th - OTHPG [redacted] - Rs. 85 2. April 28th - OTHPOS [redacted] - Rs. [redacted] Kindly investigate these problems, cancel the subscription, and refund Rs. [redacted] to my original payment method promptly. I can be reached for further discussion at ([redacted]). Thank you, Arijit Maity

I recently bought 4 cards from CVS as gifts, 2 worth $50 each and 2 worth $[redacted] each, between 4/1/22 and 4/16/22. I sent photos of the cards to the recipients, but all 4 cards had issues loading, prompting a request for more information. I visited CVS with the cards, but they couldn't reactivate them or offer a solution; they suggested I buy new cards. This is a $[redacted] problem. I faced similar problems with cards from Amazon, but they reissued codes each time. Despite reentering the codes from the CVS cards, the issue persisted. I would like new codes issued to recover the $[redacted] spent. If you are unable to assist, kindly connect me with a supervisor. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Best regards, Lee C.

I recently noticed unauthorized transactions on my card ending in [redacted]. There were 37 transactions totaling [redacted] INR for GOOGLE *YouTube Super g.co/helppay services, and another transaction for 0.32 USD for Lastice Net Hopewell [redacted] US service. I did not add this card to Google Pay, nor did I make any of these purchases. I believe my phone is secure, so I am unsure how this happened. Is it possible for someone to access card details from the card itself and make purchases? I am concerned about how to get a refund for these transactions, can the Google account where these transactions originated from be traced? Is there a way to cancel these unauthorized subscriptions? I can provide a screenshot of the bank transaction history for further assistance.

I purchased a $[redacted] Google Play gift card on February 16, [redacted]. I have been struggling to activate it as the card seems to be without a proper activation number, despite having a receipt from Speedway gas station confirming the purchase. I reached out to the provided customer service number 1-[redacted] and have been unable to get any help. I want either an activation number or a refund for the unused card. I don't have a Play Store account and shouldn't have to create one to get assistance. I plan to file a complaint with Google as I have been unable to find a resolution for this issue after several months.

I recently purchased my first Google Play Card on 05-28-[redacted] at Dollar General in Newell, South Dakota store #[redacted] at 17:00:47 for $50.00. As a newbie to using such cards for online purchases, I sought advice from a person in Pierre, SD who asked me to send a picture of the card's back. After checking, she informed me that no money was loaded on the card originally. I suspect she might have used the card without my permission. Is there a way to track the card via the code GZDX6UJJOUABXK9H or barcode [redacted][redacted][redacted] to confirm if any unauthorized purchase was made or if the card was not activated correctly by the store?

I bought two $50 Google Play gift cards from Sam's Club's website. When I tried to use them, I was asked for more information. Sam's Club referred me to Google. I submitted screenshots of the order confirmation and gift code emails to Google’s customer service, but they said they couldn’t help. I’ve been unable to reach anyone by phone. My email for Sam's Club is [redacted], and for Google, it's [redacted] The issue might be the different email addresses. I hope to either get a refund or have the cards activated. Any help would be appreciated. I have the screenshots and original emails available.

On Sunday, June 5, [redacted], I purchased two $50 Google Play gift cards at the Walmart store in Davenport, Iowa. I opted for the self-checkout and forgot to activate them as it's usually done automatically at the register. I gave the cards to my brother, only to find out later that they weren't activated. I contacted Walmart's customer service, but they couldn't assist since it's handled by a third party. Today, I visited Walmart in Wichita, Kansas to seek help, but unfortunately, they couldn't do anything either. I'm now unsure how to resolve this issue, but any help would be greatly appreciated. My brother can't use the cards, and I'm down $[redacted], which is significant for me on social security. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Sincerely, Karen W.

I am frustrated with the deceitful games on the Google Play Store. I played Island Tree: Grow Your Coin and was promised winnings for PayPal and Amazon, but I have not received anything after winning. I have reached out to the developer with no response, despite being told I would get $[redacted] and $[redacted] for PayPal, and $[redacted] and $[redacted] for Amazon once the countdowns were over. As a low-income family, this money would greatly benefit us. I hope the game is genuine and not preying on those in need. I have tried contacting the developer through two different emails but have been blocked and ignored. It is disheartening that developers can create games that exploit people who are struggling financially.

I urgently need assistance regarding a refund for a LinkedIn Premium Trial Subscription purchased via Google Play. According to Mr. Balaji from LinkedIn Support, the subscription was bought on June 19, [redacted], and the deadline for a refund is June 21, [redacted]. Despite purchasing the subscription through Google Play and not LinkedIn directly, I’ve been charged $74.97. Mr. Balaji explained that refunds for subscriptions purchased on Android devices through Google Play must be handled by Google Play Support, not by LinkedIn. He provided links to guide me through the refund process. Mr. Balaji mentioned that the refund deadline is June 21, [redacted]. I am planning to contact Google Play Support tomorrow as suggested by Mr. Balaji. I appreciate Mr. Balaji's help and the information provided during our chat.

I am attempting to redeem a $50 Google Play gift card, but despite multiple attempts, the funds are not appearing in my account. I have followed the instructions to provide all necessary information by uploading images of the front and back of the gift card, the receipt from the purchase, and even a copy of my identification. This issue has persisted for three days, and I urgently require the $50 credit on my Google Play account. Failure to resolve this promptly may result in legal action, as I have substantial evidence of my attempts to rectify the situation. I have contacted customer service multiple times but have been redirected back to this platform. The play case number is 7-[redacted]85.

I purchased a $[redacted] Google Play gift card on 06/18/[redacted]. When I tried to redeem the code, I received an error message asking me to contact support for more information. I have emailed Google Play Gift Card Customer Services multiple times, but I have not received any replies. Even after sending the card for them to review, they have not responded to my messages. It seems like Google Play gift cards are causing issues and potentially scamming people by selling faulty cards. I am seeking assistance to get a refund from them. I would like either a new code or the balance added to my account. I am disappointed with this experience and hope to resolve it promptly.

On July 2nd, my 12-year-old niece visited my home and requested to use my tablet to play a game as she had left hers at home. Although initially, I permitted it, I was alerted by my credit card company, Chase, later that evening regarding suspicious charges. It appears that within a 10-minute span, there were 6 successful transactions and 2 failed ones for a Disney game on Google Play. Taking immediate action, I removed my credit card from the account, adjusted the settings to require a password for each purchase, disabled biometrics, changed my password, and sought refunds for the 6 completed transactions. Despite my efforts, all 6 refund requests were denied upon checking this morning. I am now more concerned with the principle rather than the monetary aspect. I wonder why there is a refund department if they are unwilling to assist customers in such situations. While I have usually spent money on mobile games without issues, it is disheartening to now face resistance when seeking help for unauthorized charges. I strive to resolve this matter amicably without involving my credit card company further, determined not to accept Google's disinterest in addressing the problem.

Dear Customer Care Team, I am Vinod Rawat from India, and I would like to bring to your attention the unnecessary annual subscription fee deduction from my HDFC Bank credit card for the Tap Scanner annual subscription. I had opted for a 3-day free trial period for the Tap Scanner app, which was supposed to be free for those three days according to the information provided. Therefore, there should not be any charges if we cancel within the trial period. I canceled my subscription on the same day, July 5, even though the trial period was supposed to end on July 7. Nevertheless, INR3790 was deducted from my HDFC Bank credit card for the subscription. I am confused how this charge occurred after an early cancellation. Please investigate this matter and refund the amount to my HDFC Bank credit card promptly. I have attached a screenshot detailing my timely cancellation. Kindly take the necessary actions as soon as possible. Regards, Vinod Rawat

I contacted your department because I was surprised to find a charge on my account for a game I never intended to purchase. While trying out your game after seeing an advertisement, it froze and did not respond when I tried to tap the screen to exit. After multiple attempts, the game unexpectedly confirmed a purchase without my intention. I do not have the game installed on my phone, and I have never made a purchase exceeding $6 before. It was not my intention to buy anything. I believed this issue was resolved with my bank a month ago, but they recently informed me that I must contact your company to address it. Therefore, I insist on an immediate refund of $[redacted] from Google for this unauthorized purchase.

I purchased a $[redacted] gift card for my daughter, but when she tried to use it on Amazon, it didn't work and her orders were getting canceled, leading to her account being locked or closed. We visited Walmart to see if the card wasn't activated properly, and upon checking the transaction online on walmartgiftcards.com, we noticed charges for Google Play from a location in support google CA. My daughter never made any purchases on Google Play as she only uses her mobile phone. We contacted Walmart's customer service, and they recommended reaching out to you as we didn't authorize any Google Play transactions. Here is the gift card information: Card Number: 4[redacted] 6[redacted], CVV: [redacted], Expiration Date: 12/28. The card currently shows a balance of $0, but it reflects spending $10 each on Google Play, which we did not do.
