I am facing an issue with logging into my Instagram account using my email address. When I attempt to login, I receive an error message stating that "this username doesn't belong to an account." Interestingly, if I try to create a new account with the same email, I'm informed that the email is already associated with another account. Furthermore, attempting to reset the password by selecting "forgot password" also indicates that the username doesn't exist. I have reached out to Instagram's support team, providing my email address, but they also requested information on the device type used to create the account originally. Regrettably, I am unable to recall this detail as the account is shared among members of a music band, and the management has changed over the years. I am eager to resolve this matter by either recovering access to the account or deleting it so I can create a new one using the same email.

I was attempting to delete my extra account that I no longer needed, as it was just for fun. However, I ended up deleting my main account that I always use. When I realized it, I clicked cancel, but it still removed my account. My account had all my pictures and videos stored on Instagram, and now everything is gone. I'm frustrated because even when I hit cancel, it continued to delete my account. Please address this issue as I am upset and crying over the photos that held memories for me. It's frustrating that there's a feature to delete an account without proper safeguards. Please fix this situation.

Hello, during the holiday season, I chose to disable my account temporarily to focus on spending time with family. When I tried to re-enable my account, both the app and the website are requiring two-factor authentication, which I had set up before deactivating my account. Despite this, I am unable to successfully enter the code generated by Duo Mobile as neither platform is accepting it. Additionally, I am unable to receive a text message through the app due to an error message stating that Instagram is unable to connect to the internet, despite my internet connection being stable. When attempting to seek support from Instagram through the app or website, I encounter the same issue where my requests do not go through successfully. I reached out via email to [redacted] a week ago, but unfortunately, I have not received any response yet. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter.

Hello, my name is Carla. I have been using Instagram since I was young. I am confused as to why my account was deactivated. I have always followed the guidelines and rules. Instagram is a big part of my life where I share posts about nature, self-growth, and self-love. I am devastated that I cannot access my pictures and they seem to be gone. My account is also how I stay in touch with my family and loved ones. I am very sad because I received no warning, I just woke up unable to sign in. Please consider reactivating my account so I can retrieve my photos. I do not wish to create a new account after losing all my content. I want to share my experience resolving wrongly disabled Instagram accounts. After numerous reports and tweets mentioning Facebook and Instagram, I began reaching out to Instagram employees through direct messages or comments on their posts. Though some blocked me, one kind individual helped me regain access to my account. Utilizing the hashtag #instagramholidayparty, I identified employees possibly from San Francisco and explained my situation. Persistence paid off as they responded within a day. My account was hacked by someone who is misusing it by posting inappropriate content. They changed both my Instagram password and email address, preventing me from accessing my account through the reset password option. I request that my account be deleted as I have photos and TikTok videos on it. I have also filed a police report regarding this incident. My account ID is Zomzackermathi under the name G.R. Hello Instagram or whoever can assist me. I encountered an issue when switching from my iPad to a new phone. I forgot the password to my Instagram account and attempted the "forgot password" option. Unfortunately, I did not sign up with a phone number. When I input my account name, it shows that a link was sent to Lilburn kids at Gmail.NZ. The correct email is Lilburn kids at gmail.com. I tried accessing Lilburn kids at Gmail.NZ, but it was deemed an invalid email. I am unsure how to regain access to my Instagram account.

While browsing through Instagram, I suddenly got logged out. I attempted to log back in and received an error message stating, "Sorry, there was a problem with your request." I then requested a password reset email, successfully changed my password, but when I tried to log in using the mobile app, the same error message persisted. Surprisingly, I could log in through Safari, but not the app.

While scrolling through Instagram, I suddenly got logged out of my account. When I tried to log back in, I received an error message saying, "Sorry, there was a problem with your request." Surprisingly, I can still access my account through the browser and another phone, but the mobile app won't let me sign in. I hope Instagram can address this issue and improve their app so that if this happens again, I can log back in seamlessly without any trouble.

I was unaware that the video I sent to a friend on Instagram contained nudity. Consequently, my account was disabled for violating the terms of service. My ex-boyfriend deleted my Instagram account out of anger, and despite him pressuring me for the password, I gave it to him. After we broke up, I found out my account was disabled due to Instagram guidelines, even though I didn't do anything wrong or have access to my account. The username was @depressfmad. I created a new account with just two followers, but unfortunately, I don't have access to any email or phone number associated with it. I hope this information is useful.

I have a Lenovo K5 Note, and recently my account was logged out. A friend used their account on my phone, but when they logged out, I couldn't log back into my account. Hello, I would like to report that my Instagram account, which I created on December 13, [redacted], under the username @trabzone1967, has been disabled. Instagram mentioned it was disabled due to allegedly mimicking someone or something, which is inaccurate. My account serves as a fan page for a football club and does not imitate anyone. I am deeply upset about this situation and have not received any responses from Instagram. I devoted 2 years of work to this account, and it was taken away from me within minutes. I'm having trouble creating an account with my business email address. The second time I tried, it said it's already in use. The first attempt showed an error, so I tried again. My account has been hacked and the username was changed to @prideofkenyans. Initially, it was @254_sponsor, then @toothbrush.ke, and lately @mkenya70. The phone number used for registration was [redacted], and the account was created last year. Hello, I am contacting you to report that my account "cakers_haven" was compromised earlier today. The individual who hacked my account has control of both my email address and phone number, which is causing me to no longer have access to my own account. They have been using my account to deceive my followers. The hacker goes by the name "Usman, manager of Britain." I have been flagging this issue to Instagram since this morning but have yet to see any resolution. Thank you for your anticipated help in recovering my account.
