Due to the challenges faced during the pandemic, my husband's job change led to financial difficulties causing this oversight. However, since August, our financial situation has improved, allowing us to offer $[redacted] towards the total bill. This payment would cover the merchandise charges, resulting in a remaining balance of $[redacted].72. Given our prior history of timely payments and loyalty to Macy's, we kindly request a goodwill adjustment to waive the accumulated late and interest charges totaling $[redacted].66. I purchased 2 stainless steel soap dispensers from Sonic Soap Company, but received 2 plastic ones instead. The stainless steel set cost $46.94, while the plastic set, which I didn't receive a receipt for, is valued at $26.94 according to the company. However, I seem to have misplaced my recent credit card statement. I am seeking clarification on whether I was charged for both the stainless steel set that I never got and the plastic ones. I have not received my order yet, which was supposed to arrive on different dates but hasn't. I have been promised by various customer service representatives that my account would be refunded for the charge of $[redacted].81. To Whom It May Concern, In [redacted], my husband (A.G.) and I (B.M.G.) were shopping at Macy's in Dulles Town Center, Sterling, VA before our vacation to Turkey. The cashier suggested we apply for a credit card to get a discount. We agreed as new green card holders looking to build credit. We asked our nephew to handle our credit card information while we were away, but he didn't respond to calls or emails. Upon returning to the USA months later, we had to pay a larger amount due to missed payments. I contacted Macy's credit card customer service, and they resolved the issue. However, our credit history suffered, leading to frequent rejections when applying for credit elsewhere. I believe this is due to the delayed payment to Macy's. If there's a way to rectify this situation or confirm our full payment to improve our credit history, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to address my recent experience with my Macy's credit card application related to Re: no. [redacted][redacted]. While shopping for work shirts at Macy's, I was pressured by a salesperson to apply for a new credit card, which I did not plan to do. Despite my reluctance, the salesperson insisted multiple times that I should apply to save a significant amount of money on my purchase. Despite trying to use my existing Macy's credit card, she refused and continued to push me to get the new card. Consequently, I reluctantly provided my driver's license for the application. Receiving a threatening letter from Macy's as a response reflects the typical behavior of the banks associated with the store. Previously, I was misled into signing up for a card under similar circumstances. Upon receiving the bill, I promptly paid it in full, only to be surprised by a statement from American Express, indicating that I missed a payment and incurred fees and interest on a different card account. This lack of clarity on the new card number was frustrating. After multiple frustrating encounters, I have decided to cut up the card and cease any future dealings with Macy's. This experience has left a negative impression, and I no longer wish to engage with a corporation that operates in such a manner.

I recently received approval for a Macy’s card, and I am eager to settle my bill. Unfortunately, there appears to be an error in the social security number associated with my account. Although I am confident in my knowledge of my SS number, there is a possibility of mistyping it on the small pin pad during the application process. The challenge I am facing is that every helpline I contact requests my social security number for verification to speak to a representative, which exacerbates the problem. This situation is frustrating as I need to rectify the issue promptly to avoid accruing interest on my card balance.

I had a Macy's card, and there was a payment made using the card by my wife unknowingly. The browser must have cached the card information for a long time causing this issue. The payment is now reflecting as a serious delinquency on my credit report despite being paid. This is affecting my credit score. I have never had any late payments on any of my cards before, including Macy's. I am reaching out to request your assistance in having this delinquency removed from my credit report. This situation was unintentional, and both my wife and I were unaware that the Macy's card was used for the payment. It was an honest mistake. I am experiencing issues with my Macy's credit card. When I tried to make a purchase on Friday night, my old credit card number appeared, preventing me from buying anything. The little red circle with a line through it indicates the problem. I have used the Macy's credit card ending in [redacted] for years and recently used it on 4/3/22 to buy pants online. However, my old credit card ending in [redacted] is now showing as my Macy's credit card. I've spent hours on the phone, first speaking with an outsourced representative in India and then a computer technician who was unable to delete the old number. Unfortunately, I got disconnected when being transferred. Please resolve this issue promptly, or I will have to cancel all my credit cards with Macy's.

I bought a blue coat using my Visa card and requested delivery to my sister by Dec 5, [redacted] for her birthday. However, the coat was never delivered. Despite contacting Macy's Women's Department and the Executive Department, I faced difficulties with unhelpful staff and no resolution. No one returned my voicemail messages and when I visited the store and waited at the Executive Department, I was told a credit was issued but never received it. They promised a $[redacted] gift card, which also was never received. I am a 68-year-old post-operation individual using a cane, and after all the time wasted, I feel deceived and overlooked. I demand the gift card or I will consider legal action.

On February 23, [redacted], I returned a pair of Karen Scott Sport Drawstring Straight-Leg Pants, size XL, via UPS. These pants were originally purchased on February 10, [redacted], using my AMEX Macy's Card. Following the online instructions, on February 18, [redacted], I bought a replacement pair in size L and picked it up today, March 2, [redacted]. I experienced a delay as it took 30 minutes to connect with an online Macy's Customer Service representative and had to be transferred. The initial customer service person I spoke to took 15 minutes to respond after Macy's sent the wrong item. I am confused about the oversight and would appreciate a clarification.

I contacted Macy’s to cancel my credit card due to numerous time-consuming calls to resolve pricing issues. Macy’s promotions offer great discounts like 25% off, but at checkout, the discount often doesn't apply as advertised. Despite the credit card agent promising a discount on my four items, they never placed the order. This deceptive practice has led me to decide to cancel the card immediately. Macy’s customer service department's behavior has been frustrating and deceitful. Stay cautious when dealing with them to avoid a similar unpleasant experience.

Following Gerard's passing, I contacted your customer service team and submitted the necessary documentation. However, despite this, two accounts remain active, one in Gerard's name and one in mine. Earlier this year, I temporarily misplaced my purse, resulting in a hold being placed on my card, which is still in place. I request the hold be removed from my card, Gerard's card be canceled, and both accounts be consolidated under my name. I am unable to pay my account via the app until this matter is resolved. I had a $23+ credit on my Macy's credit card ending in [redacted] for a few months. When I finally visited our local Macy's store to make a purchase, I was informed that the credit had been eliminated because it had been held for too long. This was a new experience for me as I have never encountered such a policy with any of my other credit cards. If this is indeed true, I would like to cancel my Macy's credit card and solely use my Amex or Visa card going forward.
