I had an account restriction and submitted the required documents. Everything got approved except for the business address and ID. I tried to contact PayPal's customer service via email, but couldn't get through. After searching on Google, I came across your email. This is the response I received regarding the rejection of my business address and ID. Regarding the ID issue, the names on the document provided do not match the names on my PayPal account. They requested a new document with matching names. As for the business address, they mentioned that the document I provided was not issued within the last 12 months and asked for an updated one with the correct issue date. The document I submitted was issued within the last 12 months, dated 16/03/[redacted] H, which corresponds to 2/11/[redacted] in the Gregorian calendar. On the ID, my first name is فراس and my last name is السعيد.

The seller informed me that I could get a refund of $35.93 if I followed their return process, which had a $12.00 fee. However, I was not happy with this additional cost and expressed my desire for a full refund since I was unsatisfied with the garment. I made it clear that I did not want an exchange to avoid incurring more expenses. I have all the email correspondences documenting my efforts to resolve this matter. The latest response from customer service offered a 30% refund to keep the product or suggested gifting or donating it if I did not want to keep it. Despite their attempt to offer a compromise, I reiterated my preference for a refund and not incurring any extra costs. I await their further response.

Hello, I am facing difficulties accessing my account to make a payment. Initially, I encountered issues with 2-step verification due to the format of my phone number being outside the US. Despite selecting my area code, I couldn't input my complete number on the interface. Contacting customer service didn't help as they require the same phone number that I can't provide. Additionally, during the call attempts, the connection got dropped multiple times, aggravating the situation. Now, because of multiple login attempts, I am locked out of my account. I simply aim to access my account, disable 2-step verification, and proceed with my payment. I have been a user since [redacted], and this experience has been frustrating. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am part of a small non-profit organization that supports African refugees and asylum seekers in Jerusalem, Israel. Recently, we had a case involving a single mother from Eritrea who sought our help. Her 13-year-old son had made unauthorized purchases on PayPal, eBay, and Google Play linked to her credit card but using her email. The accounts were in English and Hebrew languages, which she cannot read since she is a native Tigrinya speaker. The expenses incurred were substantial and equated to several months' worth of her salary as a house cleaner. We have assisted her in canceling her credit cards and the mother and son are now receiving support from a social worker. We are looking for guidance on the best approach to seek refunds from these companies to help her with this challenging situation. Any advice on how to navigate this would be highly appreciated.

Dear PayPal Team, I receive weekly notifications stating that there is money in my PayPal account, but unfortunately, I am unable to access it. Although I have changed my password multiple times successfully (by receiving the 6-digit code on my email), the problem persists. Despite following all the suggested solutions in the online help section, I have not found a resolution. Emailing PayPal is also not feasible as I cannot log in, leading to the same error message. Efforts to contact PayPal via the provided toll-free number [redacted] 50 [redacted] or the alternate number +32 2 [redacted] 78 79 have been unsuccessful as the options do not address the error I encounter. Attempting to create a new account was also futile, as I received a notification that there is an existing account associated with my email address. Since I do not possess another email address, I am unable to proceed. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Hello, I'm Marlene Hopkins, and I have encountered an issue with an undelivered swimming pool order. On August 4th, [redacted], I placed an order through PayPal for a 32 by 16 pool; however, it never arrived. Subsequently, on April 7th of this year, I placed another order for a 12x24 pool which also never reached me. Despite having the transaction numbers, I have been unsuccessful in tracking down the orders through FedEx. I am eager to receive the pool as I require it for therapy purposes. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact the company have been fruitless, hence, I am reaching out to PayPal in the hopes of either locating the company or securing a refund. I remain hopeful for a resolution. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Marlene H.

I received an email stating a charge of $[redacted].99 to Northrop Grumman. The email provided a number to call back. I am seeking clarification from a U.S.-based representative regarding the request for a Google card to cancel my account and refund my money. The email mentioned other instances of the card being used for PayPal. I value the security PayPal offers and I am looking to discuss this matter with a representative who does not request access to my computer or additional card purchases for refunds. I'm hoping for a prompt and informative response. Thank you.

Hello, I purchased a Lumi Spa Facial Kit from Facebook Marketplace on May 10th. The seller provided her friend's PayPal email for payment. I chose to use the "friends and family" option on PayPal to protect my purchase instead of sending cash. Despite my payment, the seller kept delaying providing a tracking number. After multiple follow-ups, she sent a receipt on May 21st showing a cash withdrawal rather than postage. The seller's unhelpful responses and admission of discarding receipts are concerning. How can I reclaim my funds for this undelivered item?

On 5/26, I received an email claiming I would be charged $[redacted] via PayPal from George Wertz using the email [redacted] The order number referenced was G[redacted]30. I do not have a PayPal account and did not initiate any purchase. I contacted the provided number, [redacted], and was informed the charge was for Bitcoins, which are non-refundable. The individual I spoke with requested access to my computer, which raised red flags for me. I did not authorize any Bitcoin transactions. I will address this with my credit card company. Please ensure no such charge is processed on my behalf. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Mike S. from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, [redacted].

Hello, I'm Christopher O. I recently conducted a transaction on nairaland.com with a user named Meeky007 who operates under GAGTUM SERVICES ([redacted]) as a currency exchanger. I recently made a purchase online using Paypal and encountered some issues with my order. I never received a confirmation email from the store and noticed there was no contact information on the invoice, making me concerned about the legitimacy of the website. I attempted to cancel my order and request a refund through a dispute, but unfortunately lost the case. The seller then reached out to me via a personal email and requested me to cancel the dispute in order to process the refund. I am unsure about this process and unable to find a way to cancel the dispute online. Can you please assist me in resolving this issue and help me request a refund over the phone? Thank you.

I purchased 10 mystery bags expecting returned items from stores like Amazon and Walmart for $4 each. Upon arrival today, I found a gallon Ziploc bag containing 10 smaller Ziplock bags, each filled with 10 to 15 pieces of candy. The seller quickly posted more ads featuring fancy boxes, ignoring my messages. I paid $52 for this, and within 30 minutes of receiving it, realized the discrepancy. I am disappointed as the contents are not worth $3 of candy. I expected a variety of items from the mentioned stores, not just candy. I hope to resolve this situation promptly. Thank you.

I purchased $4 mystery bags that were supposed to contain returned Amazon items, but instead, I received a ziplock bag full of candy worth far less than the $4 spent. Subsequently, the sender quickly raised the price to $19 for similar boxes. Another package I received, advertised as containing quality mystery boxes, was also disappointing and not worth the $[redacted].85 spent on shipping. Items in the boxes, like old PlayStation 2 games, were not as described. The sender, who has multiple names and websites, responded rudely when confronted, claiming mystery means mystery. I have evidence of the misleading advertisements and orders received, including witness accounts and photos. I am concerned about being scammed on other online purchases and hope to receive a refund for these misrepresented items meant for my business inventory.

I am reaching out regarding a recent transaction involving the sale of an item. The transaction took place on June 5, [redacted], with the reference number #3S710238U[redacted]7. I received an email instructing me to contact [redacted] for any questions or concerns. However, upon reviewing the email, I have reservations about its legitimacy. The email states that the PayPal payment has been approved but will only be credited to my account once I provide a shipment reference and tracking number for verification purposes. They also mentioned the need to upgrade my account to a "premium business account" to increase my deposit limit. This requires contacting the sender to transfer an additional $[redacted] to expand my account limit. Subsequently, I was asked to send the extra $[redacted] via Zelle or Apple Pay, with a request to purchase Apple gift cards from a local store for the remaining amount. This is raising red flags for me as a potential scam, especially since this is my first time selling through PayPal. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed with this transaction.

I recently spoke with an agent regarding a pending issue related to a $39.97 charge on my account for a product called Life of Riley. The offer I received was $1.00 to claim an Apple12Pro phone I had supposedly won by selecting the correct box. After realizing this might be a scam, I promptly canceled my PayPal account and informed them to issue me a new one. However, I lost contact with the agent during our discussion and I am unsure if all the necessary information was gathered due to the call being disconnected. I am reaching out to ensure the pending transaction was not processed and to report these scammers to the authorities if needed. I am willing to assist in any way possible and would appreciate an update on the status of my account. Thank you.

I have been dealing with multiple representatives from Paypal for the past four hours. Despite speaking to 7 people and being transferred numerous times, my issue remains unresolved. On May 6, [redacted], 8 transactions from my Paypal business debit card were initially rejected by my bank due to personal circumstances. After additional attempts, they were finally paid on June 1. However, my Paypal account still shows a negative balance of $[redacted].42, even though the funds have cleared my bank, leaving me with $[redacted].96 owed. Despite contacting Paypal multiple times, including customer service, collections, and the business debit card department, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. I even faxed proof of cleared transactions as requested by the collections department, but nobody could confirm receiving it. The lack of coordination between departments is frustrating, and I've been given conflicting information at every turn. I am urgently requesting assistance to resolve this issue today.

I experienced a house electrical problem that disrupted my WiFi, affecting my Netflix account. Initially unable to access my old account due to the disturbance, I started a new one at their suggestion. After a few days, I managed to recover my original account. 11 days later, I contacted Netflix when I noticed I was being charged $14.97 on PayPal with my Discover card for the new account under [redacted], even though I was being charged the same amount on my original account [redacted] Netflix explained that their policy required me to pay for both accounts since I didn't contact them promptly. Despite only using the new account for two days before regaining access to my old account, Netflix considered me a new customer and did not offer the usual 30-day trial. The electrical issues in my home had caused a significant disruption, affecting various services, making the situation more challenging. Although I eventually recovered my old account, I believe Netflix's decision was unfair given the circumstances.
