I used TurboTax last year and have an account. I am currently at a standstill while completing my tax return as I need my gross income from last year's filing with you. I had linked a credit card to my account, but it is no longer active. I can't access my account as my phone and email have changed due to theft, and I reported spam issues in the past. I am Angela J., born on 10/[redacted]. I would appreciate help updating my account with my new information so I can proceed with filing this year. Thank you for assisting me in resolving this matter efficiently.

I utilized the TurboTax app on my phone to file my taxes this year, just like last year. I opted to have the payment for the service deducted from my refund, with the remainder to be directly deposited into my current banking account. However, the money was sent to a GreenDot account, despite me not having one or providing the details for it. Upon contacting customer service, they were unhelpful and refused to address the issue, claiming it was not their responsibility. I have been trying to resolve this by contacting various parties, including the IRS, but to no avail. I was expecting a check in the mail, which was confirmed by Informed Delivery, but it seems to have gone missing. I suspect my brother may have taken it. I am seeking assistance urgently from TurboTax as a last resort. I am puzzled as to why the deposit went to GreenDot instead of my current account, and I am in desperate need of help to resolve this situation.

I used the TurboTax app on my phone to file my taxes this year like I did last year. I selected my payment to come out of my refund and the remainder to go to my current bank account. However, the money ended up in a GreenDot account that I don't have or provided the number for. Customer service wouldn't assist me, stating it wasn't their issue. I've tried contacting the IRS and others but no one can help. TurboTax is my last hope. I believe my brother may have taken the check. I've tried requesting a new check, but have been told it's not possible. I'm desperate for help - please assist me!

I am having difficulty resolving an issue with my tax refund. After sending numerous emails, I received a letter stating that my refund was denied for reasons that do not match my tax return details. For instance, it mentions my gross income exceeds $[redacted],[redacted], when it is actually $10,[redacted]. Additionally, it mentions dependents not on record, although I did not list any dependents. Although there is a number to call to dispute this, I am not confident in doing so. How can I effectively prove my case and resolve this matter properly? Your assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Wanda M. I filed my taxes on March 18th and 19th, requesting the free package, not deluxe. I noticed a charge for e-filing when reviewing with my roommate, who has tax experience, and confirmed I shouldn't have been charged. I believe there was an error, and I urgently need a supervisor to resolve this and refund the overcharge. Please contact me promptly so we can rectify this situation. Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to resolving this matter.

I bought Turbo Tax Deluxe CD from Sam's Club and faced difficulties installing it on my computer and applying the code to my taxes I had started online. I proceeded to work on my taxes without using it. Eventually, I had to switch to the self-employment version unexpectedly. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't use the Deluxe version. I bought the self-employment version, filed my taxes, and requested a refund. However, the case was closed without any explanation on the refund status. I haven't received any communication regarding sending back the CD or providing additional information. I still hope for the refund since I had to purchase two Turbo Tax products this year. Thank you.

I filed my taxes on this platform in [redacted] but didn't save or print the forms. Typically, when you have your taxes done, they provide you with copies of the forms, which I don't have. Now, I'm getting them done professionally this year, and the preparer is requesting my [redacted] taxes. I contacted the IRS and obtained a copy of my transcript. Will that be sufficient? Also, if I log into my account, will I be able to view those forms and documents?

I need assistance with filing my taxes this year as I have multiple LLCs and a professional corporation that file as S-Corps, along with my personal return that includes rental property. I typically use TurboTax and purchased both the Home and Business and Premier versions as I have in previous years. However, I encountered issues when trying to download both programs onto my new computer. After downloading Home and Business, I attempted to download Premier but received an error message stating I needed to remove the previous program first. Despite trying to do so, I have been unsuccessful in installing both programs. I specifically need to file the [redacted]-S returns for my LLCs. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I used TurboTax Deluxe [redacted] for my [redacted] taxes. I filled out federal and state forms, e-filed federal taxes with a $[redacted] payment deducted from my checking account, and saw that I owed $[redacted] to one state and $[redacted] to another. I planned to mail the state forms later and saved PDF copies. Returning after a couple of weeks to review, TurboTax now shows a $[redacted] refund from federal and a $75 refund from the resident state, with an additional $[redacted] owed to the non-resident state. Only the federal return has been e-filed. I'm puzzled by the sudden change and unsure which return to file. I had saved PDF copies before the discrepancy. Could there be a flaw or a software update causing this confusion?

I am requesting a refund for the audit protection I purchased as the software is malfunctioning. I have faced challenges contacting TurboTax, leading me to seek alternatives in the future. I procured the software on Amazon, but I feel TurboTax should reimburse me due to misleading commercials promising instant access to tax experts, which is not the case. My concern lies with the Sch SE form, continually prompting me to input data on line 18, a requirement I have not encountered previously. Additionally, it generates calculations under the Farm optional method section, despite me not having or entering any farm-related data. The software attributes this to net farm profits, rendering me unable to make modifications. With tax day approaching tomorrow and my [redacted] taxes unresolved, I am frustrated and compelled to seek a new software solution, starting the process afresh.

Hello, I am the owner of the taxes being filed. I am experiencing an issue because I attempted to open two accounts with my fiance, and one needs to be amended. It has been almost two and a half months, and despite submitting my ID, updated address, new phone number, and copies of my front and back ID, the process has not progressed. Please contact me at your earliest convenience at my new phone number, [redacted], so I can update all my information and resolve this matter. I urgently need to manage my bills as I am currently staying in a motel with my family. I would greatly appreciate your prompt assistance. Thank you, Kevin. My email is kevinbanks4582@[redacted] and I can provide my new address once I hear back from you. Thank you again and have a pleasant evening.

I have inputted the details from my 2[redacted]-INT Form into Turbotax, including boxes 3 and 12. Apart from these, the form displays an additional amount that was not reported to the IRS: Taxable Accrued Federal interest paid $14,[redacted]. I made an adjustment in Turbotax to include this amount as part of the interest income. Turbotax now correctly reflects my interest income. However, during the review process, a [redacted] worksheet flagged an issue. I was prompted to re-enter the accrued interest paid. Strangely, this amount was added back to my interest income for tax calculation. It now shows up on Schedule B of the [redacted] tax form as Accrued Market Discount. I am unable to find a way to fix this in Turbotax. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Tom

I have misplaced all the documents related to my [redacted] tax return which I completed using TurboTax. I need to retrieve my AGI number to file my taxes this year, but I cannot locate it as I have lost all my information, including passwords and emails. I am seeking assistance from a representative to help me find my AGI number. Additionally, I am confused about owing the IRS $44 from the $62 refund I was supposed to receive in [redacted], which I never got. I worked as an independent contractor last year, earned $18,[redacted], and aim to report this income to set up a payment plan with the IRS. After waiting for ten days to receive a transcript, I discovered that there are no records of last year's filing. Despite using TurboTax, I am being told conflicting information about owing the IRS with no record of my file. I urgently need someone to contact me to address these issues promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

I submitted my taxes on February 22nd, but I have not received my second stimulus payments yet. I am unsure if any letters or notifications were sent to me regarding this matter. I am concerned about the status of both my return and my son's, as mine shows Topic [redacted] and his is still being processed. I e-filed through TurboTax with direct deposit details. Please reach out to me promptly at [redacted]. Thank you. Angela

I'm having trouble accessing my Intuit/TurboTax account. I changed my password in my personal profile's sign-in privacy and security section, but I keep getting an error message that says, "Missing Required Argument: Authorization. token Type" when I try to confirm it. Even after updating my password, the system still shows my old 9-character password instead of the new one. This issue is preventing me from e-filing my federal and state tax returns through TurboTax.

I am encountering an issue when trying to e-file New Jersey CBT-[redacted] forms, which is mandated as the state does not accept paper returns. It seems like the problem is linked to the limitation within the TurboTax for Business software, which restricts me to filing only five Federal returns. Due to this limitation, I had to resort to filing a paper Federal return for this particular taxpayer. However, this act seems to be causing a hindrance when attempting to e-file the New Jersey CBT-[redacted] for the sixth corporation I am dealing with. The software is suggesting that if I purchase another copy of the [redacted] TurboTax for Business, I will be able to file five more Federal returns, enabling me to e-file New Jersey returns. This proposed solution appears confusing to me since I already have multiple tax returns under my initial software license. It seems unreasonable to necessitate a second license just to fulfill New Jersey's electronic filing requirement, especially when the software is not handling it correctly. Sincerely, Richard A. In February [redacted], the IRS contacted me to inform me that I had not filed my [redacted] return in [redacted], which is incorrect. I submitted my [redacted] Federal return using Turbo Tax, have proof of filing, and provided the correct bank account information for the tax payment. Despite authorizing the direct debit for tax payment, the IRS has not withdrawn the owed amount according to my bank statements. Similarly, in [redacted], I filed my [redacted] Maryland Taxes and authorized a direct debit for payment, but Maryland has not withdrawn the funds based on my account details. How can I rectify this situation?

I completed my [redacted] tax return but need assistance with reporting Capital Gains from selling a vacation home on 1/15/[redacted]. The property was purchased in [redacted] in my wife's name as a guarantee due to founding a startup. In [redacted], she transferred ownership to a Revocable trust with me as co-Trustee. We refinanced the property in [redacted] with an equity loan, and in [redacted] we refinanced again with the same bank. After my wife passed in [redacted], I am looking to report the sale for $[redacted],[redacted] with $13,[redacted] in closing costs. The bank's appraisal in [redacted] was $[redacted],[redacted]. As I don't qualify for the full exemption, I need guidance on filling out the proper TurboTax form for capital gains based on the property's value appreciation. My estate and tax lawyers support my approach but are not familiar with TurboTax. Any help with the form fill-out would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, John C. H.

I completed my [redacted] tax return but need assistance with the Capital Gains related to the sale of a vacation home on 1/15/[redacted]. The home, originally purchased in [redacted] in my wife's name as a protection since I was establishing a startup company, was put into a Revocable Trust in [redacted] with me as co-Trustee. Following a bank equity loan in [redacted] and a subsequent refinance in [redacted], my wife passed away in [redacted] as the surviving Trustee. Although I do not qualify for the $250k or $500k exemption due to not meeting the residency requirements, I sold the property for $[redacted],[redacted] with associated costs, resulting in a net amount of $[redacted],[redacted]. I am seeking assistance to properly complete the necessary TurboTax form. Both my estate and tax lawyers acknowledge that I am in compliance with the law but are unfamiliar with TurboTax. I appreciate prompt help as I believe with TurboTax's services, we can address this filing issue together. Thank you for your assistance; I have benefitted from it in the past and am a satisfied customer.

I am dissatisfied with the Turbo Tax Premier software I purchased on 4/21/[redacted] from BJs. I completed an online return request form on Intuit.com and received a response with Case Number: [redacted]52, a refund amount of $76.03, and the status marked as "Refund Status closed." However, the instructions on how to proceed further to obtain the refund were not provided. After filling out a "Contact Us" form, I was given a phone number [redacted] to call. Unfortunately, the call connected me to someone in another country, and due to excessive noise on the line, communication was impossible, resulting in a disconnection. Subsequent call attempts still did not connect me to a representative. I am unsure of the next steps to take in order to receive my refund. Do I need to return the CD by mail?
