United Airlines has made purchasing the correct Economy ticket quite challenging for me. I initially bought the ticket with the intention of bringing a carry-on on board. Upon reviewing my ticket, I discovered it assigned me the basic fare from FCA to DEN and the premium fare from DEN to FCA. Although my ticket indicates "United Economy," I am only allowed to select the most basic economy seat. I am facing confusion as I wanted a ticket that allowed me to bring a carry-on, not different levels for each leg of the journey. I aimed for a higher-priced ticket for the privilege of having a carry-on and a preferable aisle seat due to motion sickness, but it seems I am restricted on the way to DEN. I need assistance with my baggage. My bag was sent on UA1434 from ATL to IAH on Sunday, March 26th with confirmation code H2ZQC3 and bagtag [redacted]. Despite having a standby ticket, I couldn't board the flight due to it being fully booked. I later flew on DL070 to AMS via ATL on the same day. The UA gate attendant mentioned that my bag stayed in IAH and couldn't be taken off. However, I am unable to track it using the UA app as it doesn't recognize my confirmation and bagtag numbers, making it impossible to open a file. I urgently need to forward my bag to AMS, as it contains essential medical items. How can I obtain a file number to assist with locating and forwarding my bag promptly?

During my recent flight, I encountered a situation where the passenger next to me was oversized and encroaching into my seat, causing discomfort. I had a flight booked from PDX to ALB with a connection at ORD. The first leg was delayed by an hour, causing me to miss my connection. Unfortunately, there was no customer support agent available to assist me. After reaching out to AmexTravel, they contacted United Airlines, but they could not confirm if the connecting flight was delayed. United mentioned that if the flight was on time, I would have to wait until the next day to fly out without offering compensation for a hotel. To find out if the second leg was delayed, I had to leave the security area and visit the ticketing counter, where I discovered the flight was indeed delayed, but I had missed the first leg. Additionally, my checked bag is now missing.

Hello, I am writing to address an issue with our flight reservations under the names known as ROUTIER PATRICK MICHEL and VANHECKE ISABELLE CORINNE. We recently received an email from United Airlines with incorrect names on the booking as Patrickmichel and Isabellecorinne, which don't match our passports and could pose an issue at the airport. Last year, flights were booked from Denver to London Heathrow for a special 50th anniversary trip in September [redacted]. Recently, a knee replacement was scheduled for August [redacted], prompting the need to postpone or cancel the trip. The plan is to reschedule for [redacted]. However, United's policy states that the ticket value must be used by December 31, [redacted]. As a loyal two-million mile flier and longtime Mileage Plus member, reaching out to someone who can approve a refund to extend the value through [redacted] is necessary.

During my trip from Stuttgart to Denver with a layover in Heathrow, my luggage didn't make it to Denver but ended up in Newark, NJ. It arrived at Newark last Monday, April *. United Airlines provided me with file number DEN*****M. The customer service team in Southeast Asia has been understanding but could only confirm the luggage is lost. Interestingly, my daughter-in-law, the owner of the suitcase, received two calls about it, hinting it might still be in Newark, NJ. Unfortunately, when I tried calling the number back, it led me to an automated message.

I had to rebook my cancelled flight for April 13 at 9:12 p.m. When I tried to select my preferred seat, 27A, there were many seats available with no extra charge. Every attempt to select a seat, including 27A, resulted in an error. I proceeded with check-in, intending to change my seat later, but I'm now unable to do so until 1 hour before the flight. My assigned seat is now 35D, which is not ideal. Kindly change my seat to 27A, please.

I can't seem to locate my reservation. My name is Susan Iannace, and my Mileage Plus number is XBA59403. My flight is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, in the mid-afternoon from Orlando to Newark, non-stop. I will be traveling with two service dogs and a cat (in the cabin), and I have reserved seating in the first row behind the first-class barrier. Our flight from PUJ to ORD went smoothly, and we even arrived a bit early. However, upon arrival, we were informed that our gate had been assigned to another plane, leading to a 40-minute wait on the tarmac. Subsequently, we had to recheck our bags, go through customs, and then waited another 40 minutes for our luggage at baggage claim before our connecting flight to MSN. Unfortunately, due to these delays, our originally planned 1.5-hour layover was inadequate for our connection, resulting in us missing our flight. We were unable to wait for the next available flight 24 hours later. The airline was at fault for the mismanagement. I am seeking a full refund for 5 flights from ORD to MSN. Thank you.

I wanted to share my experience regarding the cancellation of United Airlines flight UA3430 from Newark to Myrtle Beach on April 16. My baggage was on that flight, and my reservation was under NTVGIP. Unfortunately, all other United flights to Myrtle Beach were fully booked, forcing me to seek an alternative with another airline. This caused significant inconvenience as I had a golf tournament to attend, with practice scheduled on Sunday and tournament play from Monday to Wednesday, all prepaid. Despite being assured that my luggage would be on the next United flight arriving at 4:30 PM, it did not arrive. Subsequent flights also did not have my luggage. This left me without my golfing clothes or equipment, resulting in additional expenses to purchase necessary items and rent clubs. I have made numerous calls, provided my baggage tag numbers (3[redacted]77, 3[redacted]78), and even contacted United on Monday, but to no avail. After spending hours seeking compensation and resolution, I was disappointed to only be offered $[redacted] and faced difficulty in having my concerns addressed adequately. As a frequent United Airlines flyer with a history of issue resolution, I believe I am entitled to compensation under the Montreal Convention for the damages and inconvenience I have endured. I am hoping for a reasonable and fair resolution, supported by the receipts I have kept for all related expenses. I have a flight from AUS to SIN, but my AUS to SFO flight is delayed, while my SFO to SIN flight is on time. I can change my AUS to SIN flight to a later time on the same day. However, my companion's flight from SFO to SIN is scheduled to depart on time. I'm unable to change his ticket online since it's on time. We are looking for compensation for a trip that we feel United Airlines mishandled. We had a nonstop flight booked from IAD to SXM on 3/25 with flight UA [redacted], departing at 8:22 am, and arriving at 12:30 pm. Upon arriving at IAD two hours early, the kiosk displayed an error. Despite booking through CapitalOne Travel with clear indications that Rhett and Katrina were the adults and Tristan was the lap infant, they were unable to rectify the situation before our flight departed. We were rerouted through SJU later that day, requiring an overnight stay and incurring additional costs for accommodation, leading to a missed day in St. Martin. This unexpected change not only caused inconvenience but also added financial strain.
