My Twitter account was unexpectedly locked on October 24, [redacted], and I am unsure of the reason for this action. I am unable to unlock my account as I no longer have access to the linked phone number. I submitted an appeal, and on November 8, I noticed that the account could be accessed but with limited functionality, restricting me from tweeting or interacting. After filing another appeal, I received a response stating that there is an ongoing case regarding my account. It has been nearly a month since I have had full access to Twitter, a platform I've utilized since [redacted]. I am eager to regain full functionality of my account and would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have been contacted by someone claiming to be from your organization, stating that I have won $[redacted],[redacted] but need to purchase a gift card to cash the check. The individual provided their Twitter handle as @Lucyd019. I expressed my concerns about needing to buy a $[redacted] gift card, as I believe I should only have to deposit the check and wait for it to clear. They sent me an email detailing two options for receiving my winnings: through an ATM or by check. Each option requires purchasing a specific gift card: $[redacted] for an iTunes card for the ATM option and $[redacted] for an Amazon card for the check option. The explanation given was that the gift card would be used to verify my identity as the rightful winner when the delivery team arrives. I am unsure about this process.

Hello, I recently deactivated my Twitter account and it hasn't been more than 30 days yet. Unfortunately, I forgot my password and I am unable to log in to reactivate my account. My username is "whatvictoriaa," my phone number is [redacted], and the email associated with the account should be "[redacted]" The system says my phone number is associated with more than one account, which is true as I had multiple accounts in the past. I really need access to my account as there were important things saved on it. Please provide assistance from a live person, not an automated response. I am sincerely asking for your help.

About a week ago, I got locked out of my Twitter account due to unexplained "suspicious activity." I tried to log back in using the confirmation code sent to my old phone number, but since I no longer have access to that number, I'm stuck. I've attempted to contact support by calling 1-[redacted], but all I hear on the other end are loud screeching sounds. I've also filed multiple appeals and changed my password without success. As a small artist, my Twitter account is crucial for my livelihood. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated as I'm feeling lost and frustrated.

I respectfully appeal for the reinstatement of my account. I now realize that some of my posts violated the Community Guidelines, a careless mistake on my part. I assure you that I will adhere to the rules going forward and uphold the values your company promotes. Interacting with fans is an integral part of my work that I genuinely enjoy. My main goal has always been to connect with my audience and create positive experiences with them. Regrettably, this interaction also attracts malicious individuals, resulting in ongoing harassment and abuse that I have to endure daily. Given that the warnings from Instagram seemed to arise before I even shared the content, I suspect they were triggered by mass reporting from these trolls rather than a breach of the rules on my part. Having my account reinstated is crucial for my work. I sincerely hope for your understanding and assistance in this matter.

A few months ago, my account @cavingraves got suspended after a hacker used it to send spam. I reached out for help then, but haven't received any responses. Despite the hacker violating the ToS with spam tweets, my account was always clean. I had important retweets from respected individuals that are now lost, potentially forever. These tweets made my life easier. Dealing with this situation has been tough, and it's frustrating that my account got punished and my requests are being ignored. I am unable to even open a new ticket to address this issue. I just want a real person to review my case because I believe that upon inspection, you'll realize my account shouldn’t have been suspended, as it never deserved it.

Hello, I have several Twitter accounts – one for business and two for personal use. My main account is @gulagmonkey45, linked with phone number [redacted], working fine. However, I recently changed the password for my other accounts and when I try to add the same phone number, +61 for Australia (with the correct country code), I keep getting an "unsupported number" message. I have successfully used this number on my main account for receiving messages from Twitter for password resets and 2FA. Hello, I am still patiently waiting for a response regarding my suspension, which has now extended beyond two weeks without any feedback. I have been an active Twitter user for eleven years, consistently striving to uphold responsible behavior on the platform. A thorough review of my account will reveal that I frequently report abusive accounts, whether they are racist, sexist, or otherwise threatening. I firmly believe that no one should be subjected to abuse or threats while using the platform. I have received notifications confirming the suspension or deletion of such accounts, indicating my commitment to maintaining a safe Twitter environment. While engaging in political discussions, it is possible for conversations to become heated resulting in regrettable tweets being posted. It is a common occurrence, and I acknowledge that appropriate actions should be taken when necessary. However, the current lack of a feature for editing or deleting tweets leaves users with limited options to rectify errors. Twitter has become my primary source of information over the years, and I have grown to heavily rely on it. Unfortunately, the suspension of my account has left me feeling at a loss as Twitter has been an integral part of my daily routine. I am hopeful for the reinstatement of my account.

My Twitter account, @groggydealer, has been compromised by hackers. They are tweeting from it, and they changed my password so I can't regain access. I suspect they also changed the email associated with the account, as I don't recognize it and can't access it through Hotmail. Twitter's instructions to reset are not helpful as they suggest an app may still be connected. This has left me stuck in a loop, unable to reclaim my account.

A few weeks ago, my account got locked because of an error in the call verification system that seems to be affecting multiple users. For weeks, I repeatedly received the message "Sorry request failed, please try again later" while attempting to verify my phone number, which is indeed mine. This situation led to me being unable to access my account, which was then temporarily restricted. Upon finally regaining access, I discovered my account was now suspended. I have come across others facing similar challenges, with some managing to recover their accounts while others, including myself, are still waiting for a resolution. Over the ten years I've had this account, it has accumulated numerous sentimental messages, some from individuals who have since passed away. I operate a horse racing business with 5 primary pages totaling around [redacted],[redacted] followers. Two months ago, Twitter suspended all these accounts simultaneously, and I have been unsuccessful in recovering them since. I admit to some spam-like activity such as excessive direct messaging, but nothing illegal or severe. These accounts are crucial for driving sales, especially given the challenges posed by Covid. I am having trouble accessing my locked account since I don't have an associated email address. I am unsure about what steps to take. Is it possible to regain access without an email? Can I create an email for this account without logging in? Can I use my phone number instead to unlock the account? How long will the account remain locked? Will it unlock automatically after a period, allowing me to log in normally, or must I add an email address to unlock it?

There is an individual on Twitter with the handle @xionflygon who has exposed my real name, which I did not share on Twitter, and is using it to mock me and incite others to make false reports about me. This account has a history of bullying and harassing people throughout [redacted]. Despite multiple reports of targeted harassment, Twitter has not taken any action. Recently, one of my friends informed me that my real name was mentioned in a tweet without my consent. This disclosure violates my privacy rights as I intentionally refrained from sharing my name on Twitter due to concerns about user protection. The individual is not only taunting me indirectly but also making suggestive comments about my mother's health and location. This behavior constitutes doxxing, and simply blocking the account is ineffective as the harassment continues through other means. I reported this privacy breach, but Twitter Support dismissed it citing that a real name is not considered private information if shared before, which is not the case for me. The person's abusive manner of sharing my name is in violation of Twitter's rules, and I expect prompt action to remove my name and the offending tweet to uphold my privacy rights.

As detailed in my report, the account is utilizing the President's genuine webpage and profile pictures. My account was suspended in June, so I reached out to [redacted] to have it reinstated. They informed me on November 12 that within 10 business days, the material withholding would stop. However, as of December 2, my account [@cutestSinRiin] has yet to be restored. Despite re-sending the email, they claim it's incomplete, which is not accurate. I am eager to know when I can expect to regain access to my account.

All of my Twitter accounts are currently locked, except for my main account, TIPSYCXH. The usernames for the locked accounts are: LONELYCXH, BRANDYSPR, BrandyCrave, and REALMAJCIMEDIA. I am feeling very frustrated because these accounts were created using email addresses and not phone numbers. Twitter is requesting verification with a phone number, but I only have emails associated with these accounts. This situation is extremely frustrating for me. Please help me find a solution to this issue so I can regain access to my accounts. I can provide all the email addresses and passwords associated with each account if needed. I hope we can resolve this matter promptly.

I created my Twitter account in [redacted] when I was under 13 and mistakenly input my birth year as [redacted] instead of [redacted]. Recently, after 8 years, I decided to correct this error by changing my birth year. However, upon doing so, my account was immediately locked for a violation dating back to the incorrect information provided initially. I am unable to access my account, which holds many cherished memories. I have submitted a picture of my ID through their form in hopes of resolving the issue, but I have yet to receive a response. I am requesting help to have my account reinstated after being mistakenly suspended by Automod. I was suspended for a tweet that appeared to threaten someone, but it was intended as a joke towards a friend and not a real threat. I did not anticipate it being flagged as threatening language, leading to the suspension. I apologize for the misunderstanding and am committed to being more careful in the future. I have submitted an appeal through the Twitter support system, but have not received a response for several weeks. I am worried that my previously unproblematic account may remain suspended indefinitely.

I recently updated my username to Tangled_Fate, believing it was unique and memorable. However, I discovered that all variations of this username are already in use, including Tangled Fate and Tangled_Fate. Upon checking, I noticed that these accounts have been inactive for over three years. I would appreciate it if I could secure one of these usernames or have the inactive accounts deactivated.
