I recently purchased a dishwasher part on eBay. The seller agreed to my offer of $[redacted], although the part was listed for $[redacted].99. Despite having sufficient funds, multiple attempts to pay with different credit cards failed with an error message prompting to try another option. Even my son encountered the same issue when trying to pay with his credit card from his computer. Eventually, he used PayPal, but the transaction went through at the full price of $[redacted].99 instead of the agreed $[redacted]. The product has already been shipped. I am puzzled as to why the credit cards were not accepted and unsure if eBay will refund the $20.99 difference. I now received a reminder to pay the $[redacted] or face cancellation of the order. Can anyone shed light on this situation?

I'm concerned about a gift card issue I'm experiencing. After realizing that someone else used the card before me, I've been left out of $[redacted]. eBay has not refunded me yet or given me an estimated timeframe for the refund, causing me to wait anxiously. I've contacted the store where I purchased the gift card, but they were unable to assist me since they only sell the cards. I will continue to reach out to eBay until this issue is resolved.

I recently purchased a [redacted] Mercedes SLC for $15,[redacted] on June 5th, [redacted], through eBay from Mone013. Order number: 27-07[redacted]4. After further communication with the seller, I sent an additional $4,[redacted].00 via PayPal to cover certain interior repairs. The seller has been delaying the fixes, citing various reasons each week, most recently claiming to be in New York. I paid around $[redacted] extra for PayPal charges throughout. Despite my requests, the seller has not provided necessary documents or initiated a refund of the total $21,[redacted]+ I have spent. I am based in Toronto, Canada, and have purchased eBay insurance. I have lost confidence in the seller and seek eBay's intervention to recover my funds. Thank you. - M. Barghian

On August 17th, I purchased the BON JOVI TOUR OF THE WORLD [redacted]-87 SOUVENIR PROGRAM CONCERT BOOK. The tracking number is [redacted][redacted]10. Unfortunately, I never received the tour book. I contacted the seller about this issue, and their response was rude and unpleasant. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, the seller accused me of being a scammer and refused to send a replacement. I have never had any problems with deliveries in the past and am quite disappointed by their behavior. I hope this matter can be resolved amicably.

Hello! I am encountering an issue with my eBay account. After receiving an email stating that my account may have been compromised, I took immediate action by changing my password and updating security questions. However, when attempting to make a purchase, I encountered a message indicating a temporary lock on my account for safety purposes. Despite my efforts, I am unable to reach eBay's customer service via phone or email due to technical difficulties. Any guidance on how to proceed with resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. My eBay account username is marbir50.

I have been in contact with a seller, Cosonsen in China, regarding a costume for my child. Despite my several requests to cancel the order due to delays and lack of clarity on delivery, they have not acknowledged my cancellation plea. Consequently, I have proceeded to place an order with another vendor on eBay. Even after being charged for the initial order, I refrained from providing my daughter's measurements as the delivery date for the custom-tailored item was uncertain. This uncertainty forced me to seek an alternative vendor to ensure timely delivery for her event. I am seeking assistance in canceling the order and obtaining a refund as Cosonsen has not been responsive to my requests. Thank you for your help.

I recently received five unexpected boxes that seemed to contain solar panels for outdoor plants. Due to their weight and being taped together, I had to open them to investigate, only to discover they weren't what I had ordered. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I am unable to lift or return the items myself. As a senior citizen with COPD, attempting to handle these heavy items has caused me physical discomfort. I am reaching out for assistance in having these boxes picked up from my apartment and returned to the correct recipient. Thank you for your understanding and prompt attention to this matter.

On August 2, [redacted], I bought a Bosu ball and a 2-year Assurion Square Trade insurance for $6.99. Unfortunately, the ball was defective, so I returned it and got a refund on August 18, [redacted]. I didn't use the insurance, as the item was faulty, so I'd like a credit for the $6.99 insurance fee. I've been unable to contact anyone to resolve this matter, and the help pages don't have any relevant categories. It's frustrating, even though it's not a large sum of money.

I made a purchase, but the item arrived broken, so I returned it using the provided label. The tracking number was incomplete - #[redacted][redacted]17 for order #15-07[redacted]7. It was received on August 26, [redacted]. I provided the tracking number when asked, but now I am being told I won't be refunded. Usually, my son helps, but he's unavailable, so I'm trying to resolve this issue alone. The damaged product needs to be refunded. I find it frustrating to face these obstacles when the refund should be straightforward. If this isn't resolved, I will leave a negative review. This situation is unacceptable. As a [redacted]% disabled person awaiting a lung transplant, staying calm is crucial, but this experience is challenging. A phone support option would help many customers who might face similar issues.

Item Number: [redacted]63 - Household Hog Ring Pliers Clamp / [redacted] Hog Rings M Nails; Quantity: 4; Price Paid (including tax): $21.19; Refund: $5.30 on 8/31/21. I purchased 4 of these items, but I only received a refund for 1 due to an error when I requested it. Unfortunately, I couldn't correct the quantity after the refund was issued. I am unable to reopen the case on eBay. I would like to receive the refund for the remaining items I did not get. Please see below the communication exchange I had with eBay support: Aug. 31 - Received refund Aug. 31 - Sent a message Comments - Hi, I mistakenly requested a refund for 1 item instead of the 4 I ordered. Apologies for the confusion. Please adjust the quantity to 4. Thank you. Aug. 31 - Item not received You requested - Refund Comments - Hello, I haven't received my order yet, and the estimated delivery date has passed. Can you check the delivery status? If the package is lost, I would like a refund. Thank you.

I bought a Sea Eagle [redacted] Deluxe kayak, order number 27-07[redacted]1, but realized promptly I should have chosen a different model. I notified the seller immediately, who agreed to cancel the order. I requested to review all related messages. I later received an email from the seller stating Ebay would not process the cancellation. I told the seller not to ship the item before it was sent out. I contacted Ebay and was assured they would resolve the issue as the seller had promised to cancel the order. Despite this, the seller claimed they didn't accept returns. I also raised a dispute with my credit card company after noticing charges for the order I thought was cancelled. I believe the seller should cover the return costs. Please update me on the progress of this matter.

I recently received my refund from Perfumeoutlet after returning the fake perfume they sold me. Despite explaining in multiple emails and conversations that the label provided by the seller was unusable due to USPS regulations, I had to pay an extra $9.55 to ship the hazardous package back for a refund. While I received my refund for the product in August, the additional shipping cost has not been refunded. I have contacted eBay multiple times about this issue but have not received a response. I kindly request a refund for the shipping cost, as I should not have to bear the expense for the seller's mistake. Thank you. Regards, L²

I have come across listings on eBay where sellers from Hong Kong claim to be American, which is misleading. As a buyer searching for American sellers, it’s frustrating to discover the seller is actually based in China through their profile information. It's crucial for sellers to be transparent about their location, as an American seller shipping from China is not the same as a local seller. I intend to raise this issue with legislators, similar to how Amazon is held accountable for misrepresented items shipped from China. To avoid this confusion, eBay should implement a feature to filter out sellers from China and Hong Kong, making it easier for buyers to specifically search for US-based sellers. This adjustment would save us time and prevent misunderstandings while shopping online.

I sent a previous version of my message, but a spelling error changed "when we" to "weekend." Here it is again. People from Hong Kong claim to be American sellers. When we search for American sellers, we don't want to discover they are actually located in China upon viewing their profile. Please address this issue. A seller registering in China should be identified as such, not as an American seller. Shipping from China doesn't make them American. Similar to Amazon's responsibility for items inaccurately represented from China, we urge eBay to ensure that profiles indicate the sellers' true locations. This will prevent us from having to manually check each profile's location. It would simplify things if we could search specifically for sellers in the US, rather than having to filter out China and Hong Kong sellers. eBay's lack of action leaves us unable to address misleading listings from foreign sellers, unlike with American sellers.

I recently purchased a motorhome using eBay gift cards, following instructions from eBay Motors. However, after the initial purchase, I was asked to provide more gift cards for insurance and customer tax, totaling $3,[redacted]. It has been over two weeks, and despite promises of immediate shipping, the motorhome has not arrived. Additionally, when I called to address the issue, the person connected to my bank account without my consent and withdrew almost $3,[redacted] in bitcoin. I am looking for a way to speak to a live person or contact eBay's security team directly to report this incident. Can someone provide me with the contact information for eBay's security unit to resolve this matter efficiently? Thank you.

Dear Customer Service, I would like to address a recurring issue with my online purchases from EBAY. Despite being a diligent and on-time payer for items, I have encountered problems with receiving some of my orders. The root of the problem seems to be inaccurate labeling of my shipping address by the mailing department. My buyer address and shipping address differ for security reasons. The buyer address is my apartment building at: Jennie Viana [redacted] East 37 Street, Apt. 14 NY, NY [redacted] However, I use a U.S. Post Office box for my shipping address for added security. It should be labeled as follows: Jennie Viana [redacted] East 34 Street #[redacted] Murray Hill Station NY, NY [redacted] Please note that the # sign in my shipping address denotes my P.O. Box number and not an apartment number. Numerous times, I have lost both packages and money because the address is erroneously altered to: Jennie Viana [redacted] East 34 Street, Apt. [redacted] New York, NY, [redacted] This incorrect address leads to delivery issues as there is an adjacent apartment building with the same street address. I suspect the parcels meant for me are being wrongly delivered to an individual named Catherine without a last name. I have informed the building management, but without a last name, they are unable to investigate further. As a retiree on a fixed income and a person with disabilities, online shopping is essential to me. I kindly ask for your assistance in rectifying this ongoing mailing address error to prevent further financial losses. Thank you for your understanding and support in resolving this matter promptly. Sincerely, Jennie Viana

I recently made a purchase from an eBay seller under the name of patrluna-50. The item I bought was an open box Lumi baby monitor which was delivered to me yesterday with significant damage to its box. I had intended this as a gift and was disappointed by the poor packaging, as it was sent without a shipping box. Upon contacting the seller for a return, I was informed that returns were not accepted. I expressed my concerns about receiving a damaged product and the lack of customer service from the seller. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, the seller's unprofessional behavior was frustrating. I mentioned leaving a negative review, and in response, the seller threatened to report me. This experience has been very unsatisfactory, and I feel it's important to share my honest feedback to alert other potential buyers. Upon reviewing other customer experiences, it seems like this is not an isolated incident. I am disappointed that I couldn't secure a refund in this situation.

Hello, I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+ from amcelltech on Ebay on 4-13-[redacted]. Along with the phone, I bought a Zagg plastic screen protector (not glass), a new case, and a Squaretrade warranty. I only started using the phone three weeks ago after waiting for accessories from the UK and switching from Sprint to Total Wireless. The phone had connectivity issues from the start - no signal bars, difficulty making calls, missing special ringtones, erratic internet, and dropped calls. After troubleshooting with my carrier, Total Wireless, who found no issues on their end, I contacted Squaretrade. They suggested reaching out to Samsung, who then informed me that the phone is refurbished, not new, and originally locked to AT&T. They offered to inspect the phone but warned it would be re-locked to AT&T. The misleading listing claimed the phone was new, unlocked, and compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. My old Galaxy S6 performs better. The seller responded that the warranty has expired due to the time elapsed. I am requesting a refund for the phone, case, screen protector, and warranty due to false advertising. Thank you.

I need assistance. My new seller account on Ebay got permanently suspended today, but the email I received did not clearly explain the reason. I am puzzled by this situation and unsure if it can be resolved. Today, I made a sale of one item, but I have been receiving numerous scam messages and purchase attempts on my new listings. I took action by blocking those users and reposting the items. The scammers were trying to trick me into texting a specific number regarding their orders, which led me to suspect foul play and block the users in question. I strive to abide by all of Ebay's policies and suspect that fraudulent activities may have caused the problem. Scammers tend to exploit new sellers by making purchases and then contacting them outside of the platform. I fear that this will repeat and harm my account. Furthermore, I have shipped an item today and am uncertain about the payment and product status upon delivery. The pending funds are causing me worry. Should I consider closing my account due to these issues, particularly in regard to the pending transaction? An explanation about the process would be greatly appreciated.

I have noticed some recent changes on your website that are making it more difficult to access my full purchase and order history on my tablet. This is frustrating and is impacting my ability to use your site effectively. If these technical issues are not addressed, I will have to reconsider continuing to be a customer. It is crucial for me to be able to track my activities on eBay and respond to messages, and the current functionality is hindering my experience as a user. I have found that other online stores such as Amazon and Webhallen provide a smoother experience, and I hope that improvements can be made to restore the user-friendly interface I have come to expect. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
